Cran-Apple Holiday Wassail
8 cups / 2 litres apple juice 4 cups / 1 litre cranberry cocktail or cran-raspberry juice 4 cups / 1 litre water 1½ tablespoons / 25 ml Watkins Cider Brew Mix
Combine all ingredients into a large sauce pan. Place over medium heat and bring to a boil. Simmer for 20-25 minutes. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth. Serves about 16-20. Tastes great hot or cold!
Holiday Wassail
3 cups / 750 ml apple cider 1 cup / 250 ml apricot nectar 1 cup / 250 ml unsweetened pineapple juice ½ cup / 125 ml orange juice 1½ tablespoons / 25 ml Watkins Cider Brew Mix
Combine all ingredients into a large saucepan. Place over medium heat and simmer 20 minutes. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheese cloth. Keep warm. Makes approximately 5 cups.

Mulled Wine
1 tablespoon / 15 ml Watkins Cider Brew Mix ½ cup / 125 ml brown sugar 1 cup / 250 ml unsweetened pineapple juice ½ cup / 125 ml water ¼ cup / 60 ml orange juice ¼ teaspoon / 1.2 ml salt (optional) 4 orange slices 1½ cups / 375 ml dry red wine
Place the Watkins Cider Brew Mix into a metal tea ball or small piece of cheesecloth. Place into a large kettle along with the brown sugar and the next 5 ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in wine and heat until hot (do not boil). Serve hot in mugs or heat proof glasses. Makes 10 servings.
Hot Cran-Raspberry Cider
6 cups / 1.5 litres cranberry juice 2 cups / 500 ml apple juice 2½ tablespoons / 40 ml honey (or to taste) ½ package (10 oz./280 g) frozen raspberries thawed 2 tablespoons / 30 ml Watkins Cider Brew Mix 1½ teaspoons / 7.5 ml Watkins Raspberry extract
Place all ingredients except Raspberry extract in large saucepan. Place over medium heat and simmer 20 minutes. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth. Keep warm, add Raspberry extract just prior to serving. Makes 8 cups.
